We welcome the surgeons of Kingston Surgery Center, who merged their center with ours in March 2016. Kingston Surgery Center has a long history in our community. It was the very first outpatient surgery center in Pennsylvania, built in 1984.

By entering your medical history prior to the day of your visit, you save time, reduce medical errors and increase the efficiency of our facility. Your medical information is secured and will not be shared with other institutions.
Insurance and Billing
Surgical Specialty Center of Northeastern Pennsylvania accepts most major insurance. As a courtesy to you, we will bill your insurance carrier for you; however, we cannot tell you what your policy will cover. Since your insurance policy and coverage are between you and your carrier, we urge you to contact them prior to your procedure. You will be responsible for any co-pays and deductibles. We accept cash, check or credit card.

I saw Dr. Carrillo for the first time. She was the sweetest, caring doctor I have seen. Dr Szulborski is a wonderful doctor. Made me feel comfortable thru the procedure. The staff was great. Offered me extra warm blankets and helped me with all my concerns. I recommend this place to everyone.

A very pleasant experience. The nursing staff and doctors took care of me. Dr Clerico was a pleasure and was very nice throughout the entire consultation. Procedure went well with no complications. Excellent place!

I have had various procedures done at SSC over the years. I have always felt comfortable and well taken care of. Obviously it is because of the wonderful and caring staff. It's convenient location and size are just two more pluses
